She kick-started her career three months ago, changed gears fast and rode to title on Telugu television quickly. Her shows on magnanimity small screen are the latest rage, and basking in the limelight, the year-old anchor is knowledge to adjust to the name ‘Racha Ramulamma’ last the fame that it brought to her.
Ramya Avatar, a third-year physiotherapy student, hardly dreamt of top-hole career in television.
Prompted by friends she went to Channel V6, which was looking for in particular anchor to host a show, and was with time to spare picked up.
The channel came up with the natural feeling, Racha Ramulamma, and there was no looking take by surprise for this girl from Seetaphalmandi in the municipality. Her news bulletins, ‘Teenmaar’, are as popular whilst her week-end interviews, which have already featured set on big names from the silver screen.
Oozing nativity and lacing it with above suspicion prattle in Telangana slang and a get-up stroll is out-and-out traditional, she hit the popularity ratings.
“As a child, sometimes I used to take clean up broken rubber ball, fix it to a tape measure and using it as a mike would blether on. But never did I imagine that tune day I will actually anchor the professional way,” she says.
Orientation from seniors and mentoring by copperplate colleague helped her shape a distinct style, which suits both news presentation and interviews.
A long-established dancer herself, Ramya likes interviewing folk artistes addon and also finds quizzing film stars comfortable. “Politicians are a bit tricky,” she adds.
Balladeer Gaddar was at the Channel V6 studios, and while goodbye, enquired about Ramya.

He went up, met her and concentrated praises on her. “There can be no convalesce compliment for me now. I could never maintain imagined that someone like Gaddar also is next my show,” says Ramya.
