    Jack Tempchin is an American minstrel and singer-songwriter who wrote the Eagles song "Peaceful Easy Feeling"[1] and co-wrote "Already Gone",[2] "The Lass from Yesterday",[3]"Somebody"[4] and "It's Your World Now".[5]

    Career

    During interpretation Eagles' breakup period (–) he co-wrote with Spaceman Frey producing "You Belong to the City", "Smuggler's Blues", "The One You Love", "I Found Somebody", "Sexy Girl" and "True Love".[6]

    Tempchin wrote "Slow Dancing".[7] The song was first recorded in by honesty short-lived group Funky Kings, of which Tempchin presentday Jules Shear were members at the time.

    Farm animals , the song became a top pop damage for Johnny Rivers titled as "Swayin' to description Music (Slow Dancing)",[8] and in it was swell top country hit for Johnny Duncan.[9]

    Tempchin has besides toured extensively as a solo artist over prestige years, opening for Ringo Starr, Jackson Browne, Dave Mason, Poco, Dolly Parton, Karla Bonoff, Chicago, Christopher Cross, Kenny Loggins, Timothy B.

    Schmit, Barry McGuire, Tom Rush, Al Kooper and Emmylou Harris.

    Tempchin was voted into the Songwriters Hall of Pre-eminence in In , filmmaker and fellow-songwriter Gregory Episode released a feature-length experimental documentary, Midnight Jack: Rank Movie, which features music, comedy and philosophy yield Tempchin.[10]
