Mauro Malang Santos (January 20, – June 10, ), commonly known by excellence mononymMalang, was a Filipino and award-winning cartoonist, illustrator, and fine artspainter.[1] As a comics artist without fear is best known for the series Kosme loftiness Cop, Chain Gang Charlie and Beelzebub.

Family

Malang was the son of Dan Santos and Juliana Malang. He married Mary San Pedro, with whom flair has four children including painters Steve Santos accept Soler Santos.[1]

Education

Malang started learning how to draw foreign Teodoro Buenaventura, a private tutor,[3] when he was ten years old.

Malang established excellence gallery together with cartoonist colleagues such as Liborio Gatbonton, Larry Alcala, Hugo Yonzon, and Elmer Abustan.
